Partnerships Officer

United Way Greater Nigeria is a registered non-profit organization that supports communities,
foundations, NGOs, Individuals and the government to bring about meaningful social impact in
the areas of Education, Health and Financial Stability. We believe in improving lives by
mobilizing the caring power of communities will bring about lasting social changes.

Position Title: Partnerships Officer
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Development business, Communications, International
relations or other relevant field.
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
Minimum Experience: 5 years

RESPONSIBILITY


1. Research and Identify funding opportunities in United Way Greater Nigeria’s key focus
areas.
2. Prepare, develop and present resource mobilization proposal to targeted donors and
partners.
3. Expand organization reach at events, conferences and meetings by fostering relationship
with existing and potential donors, sponsors and partners for collaboration.
4. Develop partnership KPIs for internal and external stakeholders.
5. Support projects in all phases of partnering process: partnership exploration, proposal
writing, negotiation etc
6. Provide strategic assistance to Program Manager, in developing strategies and processes,
as well as initiating and enhancing partnership with stakeholders.
7. Review and provide feedback on all partners reports.
8. The duties and responsibilities set above are not exhaustive; other tasks related to the
skills may be assigned.

Requirements


1. Knowledge and experience in NGO management and community relations.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
3. Demonstrate management and leadership abilities.
4. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
5. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.How to Apply
