The “Skills To Employment Program (STEP)”
The “Skills To Employment Program (STEP)” is an innovative project designed to equip 150 young individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 with essential digital skills, including Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Front-end Web Development, and Network & Security. This initiative fostered their professional growth and increased their employability prospects over the course of an intensive 8-week training.
The 150 participants not only graduated from the program but also secured internship placements in various organizations across the state. This practical experience was crucial in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, ensuring a smoother transition into the workforce.
Recognizing the importance of access to technology, some of the program’s exceptional graduates were awarded laptops to support their continued learning and professional development. This initiative underscored the commitment to providing the necessary tools for success in the digital age.
